Our hotel is situated in the centre of Giżycko City which is lying on the canal route connecting 2 biggest Polish lakes: Śniardwy Lake and Mamry Lake.

This canal route is especially favourable place for organizing canoeing rally, sailing, windsurfing, ship cruises and bonfires. The wonderful environment with fields, forests and many kinds of animals ensures excellent rest in Masurian region.


This town Giżycko is known as the summer capital of Poland, as here cross all major Masurian trails.

The central location of the hotel Wodnik*** provides quick and convenient access to major institutions, banks, post offices, shopping passages as well as tourist attractions.

In a few minutes you'll get on foot to one of the largest Masurian lake: Niegocin. By the lake there is a guarded beach with volleyball and basketball court.

Near there you'll find ships harbour and promenade. You can go with the ship from here to Mikołajki, Ruciane Nida and Węgorzewo. Near ships port there is also Marina Port - the biggest sailing port in Mazuria. All there are there many restaurants and bars serving delicious fishes and other Polish (and not only) dishes.

In 5 minutes on foot you get from the hotel to the picturesque Łuczański Canal with historic rotary bridge, one of the few active in Europe and later to Fortress Boyen.

The special qualities of the city and the surrounding area determines the most attractive water system with numerous lakes, rivers and nature reserves.

It all gives good conditions for practicing various forms of water tourism, such as sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, fishing.

The winter season in Mazuria is the time of hunting, attractive sleigh rides and bonfires ended with sausages and mulled beer. Frozen ice sailing are most attractive for enthusiasts from all over the country.
